Meet Our Pastor
Our founders and Senior Pastor James Adams and his wife Tabitha have been married for 15 years. They have six beautiful children (Selah, Faithful, Judah, Cyebel, Aimee, Mercy) and reside in Louisburg, KS. Combined, Pastor James and his wife have been in ministry for more than 25 years. They have served in various churches as senior leaders throughout their ministry life.
In 2005 they founded a nonprofit international ministry called One Heart Ministry International (OHMI). They served and worked with orphanages, churches and ministered to street children throughout Haiti. They started a pastor's network in Haiti with five churches and 10 pastors. God grew the network to 120 churches with more than 450 pastors.
In 2007 the Adams moved to Haiti as full-time missionaries to work churches and orphanages. After months in Haiti, God suddenly called them to move their family to Kansas City. The Adams served and attended the International House of Prayer for two years. Around that time God spoke to them about a team of people He would give them to do life with in Spirit, Truth and community. They believe Silo is that community of people they believe God was talking about.
In the pursuit of that dream God led them to a church in Overland Park, KS called Grace Church. In 2017 James joined Grace Church as a Pastoral Resident. While serving at Grace, God placed a burden on their hearts to plant a church that would express His kingdom reality in our daily walk with Him. In September 15th, 2019 they obeyed God and launched Silo Community Church in Louisburg, KS.
